Another great PDF program is Primo PDF -you simply install Primo and when you go to print something you choose primo printer instead of your regular Epson, HP or Canon Printer, for example. It's great when you are out of ink and need to save something, like a receipt from online.

-Now called EditPad lite, it is a replacement for the standard Windows NotePad. EditPad lite can open as many files at a time as you want. You change between the open files by clicking on their tabs. No hassle with heaps of overlapping windows. Free! (also the regular windows notepad has a limit on big files to open...Edit pad can open big files with lots of text!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MP3 Trim- is a simple and easy to use MP3 editor.
Its main advantage is that it works directly in the MP3 format without having to decode/re-encode, so it is very fast and doesn't degrade the music quality.
mp3Trim can trim the parts that you want to discard.
mp3Trim can adjust the volume - either manually or automatically (normalization) - for example, to amplify those pesky MP3s that sound too low.
mp3Trim can fade-in/out (to fix abrupt beginning/ending).
mp3Trim can clean up your MP3s and recover wasted disk space.
mp3Trim is free - no evaluation period or time limit....The site also has a freeware Wave Trimmer to clean up your wave files.
PostCast Server- Don't want to send lots of emails such as Newsletters , etc from your private email address?? ...then use this free program... PostCast Server is a free server program that enables you to send messages directly from your computer. When you install it, it turns your computer into outgoing mail server. This is a perfect solution for sending newsletters, distributing messages to different mailing lists, sending notifications to your customers, as well as for sending individual messages. You can use it instead of the SMTP server of your Internet Service Provider.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
IZArc- the ultimate freeware archive Zip and Unzip utility supporting many archive formats...I actually think it is better than WinZip (you have to pay for WinZip anyways so who wants that?!). IZArc can also be configured to run your preferred Anti-Virus scanner when you open any archives.

Measuring Cup- Very easy to use Free recipe management software that allows user defined categories and sub-categories which are searchable. Also, has photo support (which I prefer to see a pic of a recipe if one is had.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CheckBook - First off, I have to let you know this is Shareware, but low costing (under $20)...I have bought many shareware programs and use them and like them a lot. Ok, I have also downloaded many free and trial finance programs for the Mac (we use MS Money for Windows) and this one is the best and simplest with a great price! I was going to get Quicken 2007 for Mac, but I ready many of the same bad reviews from users of Quicken which steered me in Checkbook's direction. This is a personal finance manager that excels at the basics but keeps things simple. Lets you import .qif files, also. Very fast starting and using and also has password protection. I must mention I like it's icon when displayed on the Dock area. :)
